Security advisories

The Slackware security advisory page contains in reverse chronological order a list of the security advisories raised on Slackware packages. Each security advisory contains an explanation and the list of all the packages updated. Download the new packages from the ftp site and run upgradepkg package.txz on each .txz. For example :

# upgradepkg openssh-7.3p1-x86_64-1_slack14.2.txz

To be updated by mail when new security advisories are published, subscribe to the slackware security mailing list.

All the Slackware 14.2 64-bits package updates are located in ftp tree ftp://ftp.slackware.com/pub/slackware/slackware64-14.2/patches/packages. This can be a good access point to get all the packages updated since the release date.
